SoWa-Boston Costume Contest & Photoshoot

And the winner is.....The House of Findings!

Sunday October 26, 2014 I was invited to the SoWa open market in Boston, by Mayra Barbara Gonzalez Geurra, manager and buyer of The House of Findings, to do makeup for a halloween themed photo shoot, fashion show &  costume contest. The makeup & styling for this event was inspired by the circus, or "Carnival of Curiosities". I got to divulge my creative side by creating makeup looks consisting of bold colors and geometric shapes. My good friend and fellow beauty artist, Julie Silva, rocked out some pretty funky braided hair creations. (stay tuned for pics) Mayra put together such a uniquely fascinating but equally amazing lineup up looks. The entire team was made up of so many talented artists, including Michael Rose, a Boston based photographer. From the photographers to the models, everyone came together to make for an exciting day. I was thrilled that I could contribute my artistry to the team.
